Internship - Social Media/Graphic Design - (Summer 2018)

      Summer Internships are approximately from June 2018 - August 2018.

Internship Opportunities Commonly Available:

  • Graphic Design*

    • Design background with knowledge in creative digital tools, drawing capabilities, composition, illustration, video, motion graphics, or photography preferred.

    • Must be efficient in Photoshop. Illustrator and InDesign is preferred.

       

  • Social Media*

    • Assists with content creation and publishing in addition to project management and administrative functions.

    • Experience in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube desired.

    • Must be efficient in Photoshop. Illustrator and InDesign is preferred.

    • Motion Graphics experience is preferred.

*This position requires a portfolio of work examples – if available, include a web address with your resume.

EDUCATION: 

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.

  • Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.

  • Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred.

  • An official transcript may be required upon request.

  • Preferred majors include: Illustration, Graphic Design, Animation, Fine Art, Digital Art and Design, Communications, Marketing

  • Preferred coursework completed: Figure Drawing


EXPERIENCE:
 

  • Prior internship experience related to position is preferred.

 
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

 Preferable skills for success in role includes but not limited to:

  • Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Superior written & verbal communication skills.

  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.

  • Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.

  • Consistent attendance.
