Product Design Internship

We are a rapidly growing education company that is looking for an expert in design and user interaction who can help us redesign our product and understand user needs.

The design role is focused on identifying user needs, translating them into visual changes to our website, and iterating. The goal of the position is to increase user engagement and retention, and ultimately customer satisfaction. Our portal, where all interaction occurs, needs an entrepreneurial designer to take it from current form into something that high school students and parents want to use everyday. This is an opportunity to work on the ground floor of a startup and get experience in an exciting space.

Role: This is a part-time role that can be done online or in-person.

What We Look For:

• Prior experience with design is a major plus

• You know about Intercom’s guide to product management, GV’s design sprints, and other industry background - you live and breathe user experience and want to impact how students use our product

• Ability to think creatively

• Ability to take ownership

• An interest in startups

• Passion for education and for startups

• Willing to execute on creative ideas

Requirements

• Can-do attitude

• At least a freshman in college

• At least 10/hours per week of commitment during school year, 40/hours per week in summer
