Investment Analyst (Remote)
Laissez Faire, an Agora Financial imprint and part of The Agora Companies, is launching a brand-new research service and needs a talented investment analyst to build the portfolio.
This role will test your stock-picking abilities and writing skills, as you research and recommend new trades for their growing list of readers.
They’re looking for a strong analyst and writer who wants to be part of a fast-growing, hard-working team.
This is a remote opportunity based in Baltimore, MD.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibility is to manage the portfolio of a brand-new research service, which is dedicated to uncovering investment opportunities in the defense and technology space.
That will include selecting small stocks, along with strategic entry and exit points for each opportunity.
You’ll help produce reports and email communications about your research. And you’ll write buy and sell alerts whenever you recommend a new action for readers.
The goal is to provide actionable and profitable stock and options recommendations to help readers grow their wealth.
Qualifications
- A proven understanding of finance and stock market fundamentals.
- History of performing stock analysis and making options plays.
- The ability to work swiftly and accurately under daily deadlines.
- Strong writing skills.
- Solid attention to detail.
- The ability to take complex material and boil it down into a clear message about what it means for readers and their money.
- Experience with writing financial content.
