Web/Graphic Design Intern

The DIRT HILL RECORDS Web/Graphic Design Intern will report directly to and be coached by the General Manager and will participate in the following projects:

  • Design and update website
  • Properly connect to and showcase all other social media pages
  • Work with Photography & Social Media teams to create content
  • Make press materials and biography readily available
  • Design and maintain lead magnets to build email list
  • Logo design
  • SEO development
  • Link building to and from other appropriate sites
  • Site/Page meta-data enhancement
  • Keyword research and integration

*Intern to provide their own equipment including but not limited to:

  • Laptop with WIFI capabilities

While in person is preferred, interns will also have the option to work remotely, which will include regular video conference call meetings for training/updates.

Note: Students can inquire about academic credit for this position, if they wish to, with their own
college/major department

  • Clinical training will be provided during one-on-one meetings, to be followed by hands-on training to add practical experience.
  • Students applying to this internship are required to submit transcripts to ensure their coursework and/or area of study is in line with the expectations and education provided during the internship.
  • The time-frame and hours of this internship are set to best accommodate the intern's academic commitments by following a typical academic calendar. If academic commitments of the chosen intern do not directly line up with the timing of this internship, reasonable adjustments may be made.
  • The duration of this internship is set to allow enough time for the student to fully learn all they reasonably can about the position, while also having a chance to apply that knowledge with an invaluable hands-on experience.
  • Interns will be working directly with General Manager, receiving a significant educational benefit from training and attention above and beyond the expectations of a typical employee, while only learning and experiencing, hands-on, tasks specific to the job itself (i.e. not making coffee, running errands, or holding a mop.)
