Twitch Prime Live Marketing Manager Summer Intern

Have you ever wanted to be part of building a new entertainment business? We are looking for a talented and versatile Marketing intern to join our Twitch Prime Live team to build entertainment content of the future. Twitch Prime Live was created to explore new types of entertainment and bring the best of pop culture and gaming together. Our exciting live streaming programs have been watched by millions of viewers on our Twitch channel.
To build on our momentum, we want an intern to lead a customer acquisition strategy and new channel innovation program. The Marketing intern will be a key member of the team, defining our marketing strategy and innovating on behalf of our customers. The Marketing intern will focus in on our viewers and make sure that we are using the right marketing tools to attract and retain them.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Create the marketing strategy and go-to-market plans for key channels with data based insights on the most effective marketing channels
- Determine how viewers interact with our programming and use this to inform marketing plans
- Create customer lifecycle marketing plans that target marketing to customers at various phases
- Innovate with new marketing tactics and channels to ensure we are on the cutting edge for how customers discover our programs
- Partner with cross-functional teams and external agencies to ensure execution of marketing and project management excellence
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrolled in a Masters’s degree in Marketing program or related field/ experience
· Experience with marketing entertainment properties or with live streaming and video streaming
· At least 2 years of marketing experience across online and offline channels
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrolled in an MBA or Masters in Marketing program or related field/ experience
· Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize marketing and activation initiatives.
· Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically.
· Exceptional interpersonal, communication (spoken and written; including experience of reviewing results with senior management and working in a global team setting) and influencing skills and an ability to navigate a complex and unstructured cross-functional environment.
· Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and good business judgment
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
