Government Services Technology Associate

Location: Chicago, IL, with remote work possible
Type: Full-time
Salary: $45,000 – $50,000 per year
Benefits: Vision, dental, & medical insurance. Employee allowance and generous paid time off including a multi-week winter break.

Description
When you think about elections, you might think about popular candidates, “I voted” stickers, and all sorts of paperwork and deadlines. But behind the scenes are thousands of election administrators in state and local governments who are working hard to make sure ballots are counted and voices are heard.
To serve every community and make democracy work, election administrators need 21st-century tools and training. You can help them get it! As the CTCL Government Services Technology Associate, you will implement streamlined, digital learning experiences that advance the tech and communication skills of America’s election administrators.
You’ll work with the Government Services team and report to the Program Manager.
Responsibilities
This is a new position on the team, so there’s room for you to help shape what the job looks like.
You will:
  • Lead logistics & support for training: Manage Zoom webinars, coordinate with instructors and participants, and organize training materials. Use tech tools to deliver data on training registration, attendance, participation, and assessment that will be used to improve future training.
  • Publish training content: Package training course content including captioned videos, participant guides, slide decks, and evaluations on self-paced learning platform. Edit, caption, and publish recorded webinars and courses.
  • Maintain content: Review online training content and help facilitate updates with the training team as needed.
