Summary/Objective

The French Speaking Researcher needs to be fully fluent in the French language and able to help conduct primary source research for global management consulting projects. This includes telephone outreach and emailing to French businesses during business hours in France. Depending on location, the candidate may be working flexible late evening/early morning shifts to accommodate business hours in France. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality primary research and data in French and English from specified businesses located throughout France. 

  • Translate from English to French and French to English confidently in both written and verbal business contexts

  • Conduct qualitative research of prospective targets, industries, and markets using primary and secondary source research methods.

  • Gather, analyze, and make recommendations to meet project objectives, prepare client presentations, and assist in pre-call planning.

  • Create reports and presentations utilizing qualitative analysis regarding companies, markets, and industry trends.

Minimal Required Education and Experience

  • College senior or recent graduate from accredited college/university, majoring in Business or related field. Master's degree preferred, but not required.

  • Fluent in French (written and spoken) and familiar with French business culture.

  • Business experience in French, working in France. 

  • Able to translate English to French and French to English.

  • Attention to detail and organization.

  • Experience with professional report creation.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Problem solving and analysis skills.

  • Familiar with research methodology.
