Chief People Office Intern

Overview

AIR is currently seeking Chief People Office Intern to join our team during our 2022 Virtual Summer Internship Program with an opportunity to extend beyond.
 
The Intern would work closely with the Chief People Officer and the Learning and Development team. Areas of focus will be Organizational Culture and Performance Management.
 
AIR’s 2022 Virtual Summer Internship Program is designed to identify, attract, and hire the best collegiate talent that will drive creativity and innovation while enabling the organization to create a diverse and skilled talent pool. Spanning 10 – 12 weeks, AIR’s paid summer program provides Interns with various learning and networking opportunities that enhance their skillset and build lasting professional connections.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for the position include:
  • Evaluation support and data analysis
  • Provide organizational support to Chief People Officer
  • Provide logistical and research support to a team addressing Institutional Culture
  • Provide performance management support to Learning and Development team


Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
  • Must be a current student pursuing a Master’s degree within Social Sciences (Industrial Organizational Psychology, Sociology, Psychology, etc.) 
  • Some experience in qualitative research methods, including experience in or interest gaining experience in conducting focus groups and using qualitative analysis software
  • Some experience with literature reviews and ability to synthesize and share research from peer reviewed journals
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office products and virtual communication platforms, including Teams and Zoom
Skills:
  • Comfortable working independently and as a member of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when writing
  • Effective communicator that can work with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds
  • Comfortable working in a virtual work environment

Disclosures:
AIR requires all new hires to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or receive a legally required exemption from AIR, as a condition of employment. AIR will ask candidates to verify their vaccination status only after a conditional offer of employment is made. Applicants should not provide information about their vaccination status or need for exemption prior to receiving a conditional offer of employment from AIR.
 
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position. Depending on project work, qualified candidates may need to meet certain residency requirements.
